Edward L. Cahill is a Partner of HLM Venture Partners. Ed was a founding partner of Cahill, Warnock & Company (now Camden Partners), a Baltimore venture capital firm. Previously, Ed was a Managing Director of Alex. Brown & Sons, where he headed the firm's Health Care group from 1986 to 1995. During his leadership at Alex. Brown & Sons, the firm underwrote public offerings or provided merger advisory services for over 200 health care companies, including the first outpatient surgery, rehabilitation, managed care and several leading biopharmaceutical companies to go public. Ed is a director of Guava Technologies, Masimo Corporation, Phreesia, Prism Education Group, Spinal Kinetics and TT&W. He previously served as a director of Animas Corporation (NASDAQ), Centene Corporation (NYSE), Occupational Health + Rehabilitation (OTC BB), Spinal Concepts, Automated Healthcare and Gene Medicine (NASDAQ). He currently serves as a Trustee of Johns Hopkins Medicine, Johns Hopkins Health System and Mercy Health Services. Ed received an AB from Williams College and a Master of Public and Private Management degree from Yale University.
